I am a Robotics Researcher with LeddarTech. My current research activities include working on autonomous driving, path-planning, robot localization, and autonomous mapping. The daily role at LeddarTech includes designing algorithms for self driving vehicles and extend the capabilities of the autonomous vehicle to achieve 2+ levels of autonomy.
I graduated with a PhD in Robotics Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute(WPI) in Feb. 2021. My research interests are to explore areas of multi-robots, swarm-robots, and human-robot interaction. The focus of my research is to design and investigate effective and efficient methods for humans to communicate/interact with robot swarms. I completed Master of Science(M.S.) in Robotics Engineering at WPI (2016) and Bachelors of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electronics and Communication from Gujarat Technological University(GTU), India in May 2012. Along with Robotics, my passion is to teach and nurture future generations to help them create a world where humans and robots co-exist.
I believe in contributing not only to the science community but also to our fellow living beings, so in India, I served as College President for Yuva Unstoppable, an NGO. Together with Yuva, my team and I worked with underprivileged kids at foster homes and with elderly at nursing homes. I am a Reiki and Tarot practitioner.
